Kathy Moss was taught Calligraphy in 1980 at WEA in Invercagill and started teaching in 1985 at Invercargill Polytech Adult Learning and throughout Southland. Pupils work was accepted by the italic Handwriting Society and exhibited throughout England. She has lived in North Canterbury for seven years teaching at Rangiora, Kaiapoi and Hurunui college.
This course is for beginners and Intermediate level. We will go over each letter of the alphabet individually learning the letter forms. At the end of the class students will be able to write in italics with skill.
Last years students can also learn extended Old English writing.
