'Is that Surreally the Amuri?'

If artists like André Breton, Dali, Miro, Picasso, Kandinsky, Klee and Man Ray set up their easels in the Amuri they might have produced something like the above.
'Surreal' is when something seems a little strange, but also quite real. So, use your imagination… surprise us, and dream up something strange and wonderful to show the Amuri as it has never been seen before! The younger ones might imagine dogs in Dogstream, or falling red posts, or cows doing strange things in the paddocks. Who knows what we might find! Just go for it!
We invite artists to create a painting, drawing, photograph, or collage, of any size,
but which is ready to hang on a wall.
Local artists will judge and award prizes in each age category
5 to 7 yrs, 8 to 11 yrs, 12 to 14 yrs, 15 to 18 yrs, 19 to 99 + yrs,
All pictures will be displayed during November at the
Amuri Art Gallery, Hanmer Springs.

ENTRY IS FREE
Please complete and attach it to your finished piece which must be handed to a librarian at a drop-off location by
3:00 p.m. on Friday 14th October 2011
